CST Experiences is owned and run by a charity, Children’s Sailing Trust, and the public watersports activities at Trevassack Lake were set up to raise money in support of the charity’s work.

Our Trevassack Lake site only opened in October 2021 so we’re still incredibly reliant on donations and word of mouth to keep us going – as with all small businesses, it’s a ‘Use Us or Lose Us’ situation so we’ve made the decision to limit opening hours over the quiet winter months.

But we don’t want to lose your attention so of course we will be putting on our series of Winter Well-being Sessions to keep up the cold water motivation.

We still want the lake to be used as much as possible, though, so drop an email or call to us to arrange a session if you want to get out on the water!

We are also (finally!) introducing our Swim Membership program, a pay-in-advance scheme to ensure that we have enough interest in our winter swims to allow us to employ staff cover for the water. If enough people sign up, we will be holding swim mornings on Tuesdays and Sundays until 5th March 2023.

Lastly, the cafe will still be open throughout the winter, as are our holiday properties.
