Drop In Swim Sessions:
One price for any length of swim, whether you want to dip your toes or train for a triathlon – there will be a swim route covering over half the lake (not behind the island) as well as the usual cordoned ‘dip zone’.
Please note, the distance available to swim around the lake may vary according to weather and staff availability.
SESSIONS:
Fridays 9:00am to 10:00am
Tuesdays 9:00am to 10:00am
Sundays 9:00am to 10:30am
- All participants must be 8 years or over
- All U12s must be accompanied in the water by an appropriate adult. All U18s must be supervised by an appropriate adult on site
As a Non-Profit organisation, we need 30 members in order to commit to keeping the swim sessions open for the season

> 2 Day – two swims a week, any sessions

Lake Dip PLUS Polar Bear Challenge
In addition to the gentle, open water dip zone, we’ve set up a separate 125 metre course, perfect for those participating in the Polar Bear and Penguin challenges.
Conquer the Polar Challenge course and bask in the camaraderie of the Lake Dip, as we make sure you get everything you need from your swim.
It’s the ultimate cold-water plunge!

Sunday Swim Spectacle
The winter chill won’t stop us – Dip, Go Polar or… Brave the Buoys!
On Sunday mornings, join us for an epic Lake Swim adventure as we brave the elements.
Just like Tuesdays you can choose to Dip in the usual zone, or take on the Polar Challenge course, but on Sundays, the intrepid among you are also welcome to train by swimming the Yellow Buoy course – as long as the weather and spirit of our swimmers allow.

Monday Evening Swims | Beyond the Wave
A casual evening swim with a warm up drink included afterwards OR swim coaching with a cuppa.
We’ve been working with Beyond the Wave for a while now so are pleased to have them back to offer their evening swim slot, from learning to swim from scratch, to improving technique, or just a swim and a social – with hot drinks and biscuits included!

Private Swim Lessons
Coached, specialised open water sessions are available through one of our partners:

They cater for all swimmers from beginners to established competitors.
They can provide 1:1 – 1:2 or group coached sessions to improve open water swimming technique and stamina at Trevassack Lake.

Lake Swimming
With its sheltered, peaceful location and clean, fresh water, Trevassack Lake is lovely for open water swimming, all year round.
Whether you’re a recent chlorine convert or have plenty of experience in Cornwall’s wild waterways, we’d love to welcome you to Trevassack Lake. Whilst in the water, marked areas will guide you to swim where suitable for your session, be it a quick dip or triathlon training around the lake’s edge.
We have changing rooms, warm showers and toilets available for use, included in your price. The waterside cafe is perfect for warming up with a coffee and cake after your swim!
By swimming at Trevassack Lake, you’ll not only spend time immersed in nature, reaping the benefits that wild swimming can bring to your mental and physical health, you’ll also be supporting the work of Children’s Sailing Trust to create affordable and accessible watersports in Cornwall.
