Introducing Floaty!

A new and innovative way to get on the water! The first of its kind, and totally unique to Trevassack Lake as it was hand built as a bespoke floating classroom that can accommodate wheelchairs aboard.

‘Floaty’ is solar-powered with a battery powering it quietly across the water to either tour the lake or stay still out in the middle of the water.

Floaty is fully accessible; it has the capability to carry 12 people on a gentle tour around the lake. Floaty can accommodate wheelchairs which means we can get anyone on the water, no matter their physical ability, and in most weather conditions.

The floating classroom provides a unique learning environment and a chance for children to get out in the middle of nature, too. Students can identify wildlife living on the lake and learn about the importance of preserving natural habitats, or have any other lesson set in a unique outdoor environment. Having an electric engine that is powered by the sun allows for a relaxing tour and the ability to get up and close to the nature that lives at Trevassack Lake.

Floaty can be hired at £30 per 30 minutes and this price includes your safety equipment and a driver.
