CST Experiences aim to be as inclusive as possible
We are passionate about providing high quality, accessible watersports activities for ALL at Trevassack Lake, and offer outstanding disabled facilities and a wide range of specialist equipment.
The Learning Centre is accessed via ramps and automatic doors and is level throughout. Public facilities include two Changing Places rooms with hoist and an accessible wet room and toilets. Level pathways with safety surfacing will guide you through the site.
At the lakeside, you’ll find wide, stable pontoons with ramp access and personal hoists to help those with limited mobility onto our adapted watercraft.
Our activity staff are professionally trained, with experience of teaching young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities. We offer integrated watersports sessions with adapted equipment so visitors with physical disabilities can participate in group sessions, and focused sessions so that visitors with special educational needs can learn at a pace that is right for them. Information about the activities and courses provided is available below.
Access on site
Our 26 acre site has been designed with accessibility and inclusivity in mind. From the disabled spaces in the car park there are level pathways through the whole site, leading around the water and through the buildings – there are no stepped thresholds here!
Gripsure decking stops things from getting slippy around the Learning Centre and waterside cafe and as well as wide doorways to the heated changing rooms with hot showers, there are two Changing Places facilities. There is also a wheelchair-suitable lift from the waterfront up to the holiday accommodation if the slope doesn’t suit.
Learning Centre Access
Our Learning Centre is fully accessible, having designed with adaptability in mind, and its classroom can be transformed into a learning space, dining area, games room or community venue.
CST Experiences can offer watersports activities for abilities and our trained instructors are experienced with many SEND differences. Plese see our accessible watersports page for details on individual activities
